2021 Tasting Notes
Luxe Rose is blended from selected bush vine parcels that show particular character, depth of fruit and texture. Only produced in vintages that deliver outstanding rose, the 2021 is 66 % Mataro, 26% Cinsault and 6% Vermentino. Hand harvested fruit is chilled overnight prior to crushing, the musts macerated for around 6 hrs prior to pressing. Juices are fermented with indigenous yeast, undergoes partial malo-lactic and maturation sur-lie in old French oak puncheons and demi muids.
2015 Tasting Notes
Luxe Rose is blended from selected from parcels that show particular minerality and depth. Shiraz (46%) and Mataro (31%) and Ugni blanc (23%) bunches are cool macerated to deliver optimum flavour and mouthfeel prior to fermentation in Acacia and oak barrels of varying ages.
Maturation on lees is undertaken for around six months prior to blending. Bottled without filtration.
